Aurora
Tactuk
is
an
author/lawyer/professor

finds
writing
in
the
third
person
like
this
slightly
awkward.
She
lives
in
Madrid,
Spain,
with
her
husband, Adrián, and daughter, Amanda.
She
is
a
product
of
the
80s
and

Domingo,

where
she
also
graduated

that,
she
moved
to
Spain,
where
she
validated
her
Law
Bachelor’s
degree
to
the
Spanish
equivalent,
got
a
Master’s
degree
in
Intellectual
Property,
and
then
obtained
an
Advance
Studies
Diploma,
which
allowed
her
to
get
her
PHD
on
Intellectual Property.
While
studying,
she
used
to
work
at
a
local
Law
Firm
in
Madrid,
but
then
–a
few
years
ago-
she
started
working
at
the
Business
and
Legal
Department
at
a
major
record
company
(where
she
still
works
nowadays
while
enjoying
the
music
concerts
and
the
occasional
artist
sighting
that
comes
with
the
job).
At
the
same
time,
she
is
a
Professor
in
the
Intellectual
Property
Masters
Programme of Madrid’s Carlos III University.
Although
her
life
hasn't
exactly
revolved
around
the
literary
field,
some
of
her
legal
papers
have
been
published,
as
well
as
a
couple
of
her
short
stories.
She
also
won
an
essay
award
in
the
Dominican
Republic
(published),
and
her
first
short
novel
won
the
"Valentín
García
Yebra"
Award
for
Young
Writers in Spain, which has been recently published by Nostrum.
Her
latest
work,
“Little
Max
Parker
and
the
Secret
of
Oblivion”
is
a
children’s
fantasy story that will be released shortly.

Cause: operation “Do more”
Just
like
everybody
else,
Aurora
has
had
her
“ups
and
downs”
in
life.
However,
and
overall,
she
can
only
feel
grateful
for
all
of
the
wonderful
things
that
have
gone
right.
And
it
is
not
just
that
she
feels
grateful,
but
that
she
actually
experiences
a
genuine
desire
to
give
something
back;
a
sense
of
obligation
that
arises
naturally
within
her
as
she
acknowledges
how
she
has
been
helped
and
cared
for
by
others.
To
her,
giving
back
is
probably
the
most
important
thing
we
could
do
to
help
us
grow
as
human beings.
In
light
with
such
philanthropy,
Aurora
is
determined
to
donate
a
portion
of
net
proceeds
from
the
sales
of
each
of
her
books
to a different cause.
This
project
(which
she
calls
“Operation
Do
More”)
starts
with
her
latest
work
“Little
Max
Parker
and
the
Secret
of
Oblivion”,
the
sales
of
which
will
benefit
the
“Soñar
Despierto
Foundation”,
an
international
service
non-profit
organization
whose
mission is delivering smiles to children in need.

Future
books
by
Aurora
will
support
different
causes
in
order
to
help
create
better,
longer
lives
for
the
greatest
possible
number of people.
Anyone
can
give
back
(sometimes
even
a
smile
counts),
anyone
can
make
a
difference,
and
everyone
matters.
We
can
definitely always do more.
